Periodic Facade Inspection Services
With experience in more than 300 periodic facade inspection projects, you can be assured that we are domain experts in identifying defects in facades. We use drone technology to give a better visibility of the conditions of the buildings. We provide precise, clear and conclusive solutions to ensure the safety and integrity of the facades of a building.
For the 100% Visual Inspection, the appointed Competent Person (CP) conducts a systematic 100% visual inspection of every building facade and exterior features using drones. After the visual review, our CP conducts a mandatory physical Close-range Inspection of at least 10% of each building face using methods such as scaffoldings, gondolas, or rope access. Our Eight-Step Workflow is shown below.

Project Planning
Our CP will gather or purchase as-built structural floor plans, facade details, building maintenance history and past repair records for review.

Site Access Planning
A site survey to identify visible defects, access constraints, hazard zones and pre-flight safety assessment.

Inspection Supervision
We use drones to capture high-resolution, close-up data of elevated and inaccessible areas. Every flight will be conducted by a CAAS-licensed Unmanned Aircraft Pilot following a flight plan complaint with TR 78 standard together with permissions and permits from CAAS.

Inspection Data Management
Every image captured by the drone is digitally tracked, processed, tagged and stored.

Defect Identification and Mapping
Every image is rigorously reviewed by our CP to georeferenced defects involving cladding, concrete, metalwork, sealant conditions etc.

Competent Person Report Preparation
Our CP will review the tagged defects and document the findings into a report with annotated imagery for each defect, defect severity ratings and location references for each elevation.

BCA Report Submission
Our CP will prepare, sign-off and submit the PFI report to BCA.

Remediation Advisory
Our CP will advise on defects remediation works like contractor tendering and monitor remediation progress ahead of the next PFI inspection cycle.
